4cLuxury is a natural hair care line that I, Alexa Peguero, founded in 2023. I named my brand, “4cLuxury” to empower type 4 hair. I know growing up and having type 4 hair, I would always receive harsh comments when I would style my hair in its natural state. When I was younger, I would often feel bad about having type 4 hair because of it. I wanted to take my power back and apply that to my brand so those with type 4 hair also feel empowered and hopefully love their hair texture as well because type 4 hair is beautiful, just like all the other hair types.

 4cLuxury began after I was struggling to grow my hair and would notice that every time I would go to the salon, my hair would grow minimally from the previous visit. In 2022, I took that entire year to research ingredients proven to aid with hair growth and launched the Hair Growth Oil in March 2023. Since launch day, we’ve sold over 3,000 units and have helped hundreds of customers get their hair growth journeys back on track with many of them seeing results within the first month of use. We’ve had customers with severe balding, hair loss, and edge traction who have had successful results.
 

As for “What's Next?” for 4cLuxury, we have formulated a Daily Hair Moisturizer that will be available on our website on February 2nd and we’re also finalizing our formulation for our Shampoo, Conditioner, and Deep Conditioner that’ll also be available soon. As someone with type 4 hair herself, I know the struggle it is to have dry hair that leads to brittleness therefore when products are formulated, they are formulated to allow the hair strands to retain the most moisture and promote growth at the same time.
